Brief
For this project, I took on the healthcare challenging topic to explore the opportunities that lays ahead. I choose to solve the problem within the healthcare coverage sign-up process from the perspective of a user who finds the process frustrating, overwhelming, and challenging.
My solution was Easy Coverage! A mobile application where users seeking for health insurance coverage can get quick pricing quotes, choose a coverage based on income, submit documents, and receive application status notifications. All while keeping user sign up process data in one place. From price quotes to doctors visit.

Goal
My goal was to design a mobile app that would offer users the coverage options the user’s qualify for (based on the basic data provided) the app will create customs coverage card options displaying all lower deduction at front, rather than having the user search for the coverage options they want but might have to pay more. This app predicts user behavior and is a few steps of the user wants and needs.
Challenge
The health insurance industry is complex, filled with a hard to understand language. Great turn-off for users in need of health insurance coverage.
How might we provide health insurance seekers the necessary tool to allow the user make informed decisions when signing up for healthcare coverage?
Proposed Solutions
Develop an all-in-one platform where users can track application process from price quote to doctor’s visits. Keep all doctors visit record. File claims and find nearby facility in network.
Simplify the sign up process and the insurance policy language.
Make insurance options come to the users instead of giving the users options to find them.
Link multiple health insurance providers to compare and get a competitive price quote to streamline the sign-up process.
Allow users make smart healthcare coverage choices by making the information engaging where users can easily go through complex tasks quickly.

User data is all kept in one place. No need to use multiple platforms to complete the simple task of getting healthcare coverage.
Users usually do not use an insurance app the entire year. This app is very personal and a tool enjoy keeping close on a daily basis due to the amount of help and benefits it provides to the user.
